Item arrive about 2 Hr ago. I went to install on my covered raised beds utilizing the 1/2 inch PVC hoops covered with heavy plastic. The were actually falling off as I progressed down the line of hoops covering the 8X4 Ft beds. They just went on without any effort or any indication of snapping in place. It is a dead calm day. These clips would NEVER hold in even a moderate wind. For those who say they are working great with 1/2 inch PVC, I need to know where they are getting their PVC. Certainly not from the same big box store where I buy mine. Note: I am not mechanically inept. I can rebuild a turbine aircraft engine so I don't think the issue with these clips is "User error". They are already packaged for their return trip.
