NaDescription says they will fit 1.5" hose but this is not true as they are too large and will not clamp down on 1.5" OD hose.They will fit 1.75 ODIn my case I needed 18 clamps for 1.5 and only need 4 of 1.75 so the package size doesn't fit my needs.To me the clamp doesn't appear to be very high quality. I would rather them medium grade, not the worst but not the best in quality.Had they fit 1.5 then I would live with it but that is not the caseI don't understand why they would use a stainless steel band and a mild steel bolt and nut.A good item that works as expected, for a reasonable price.Ordered these to use on upper and lower radiator hoses for a Subaru but, unfortunately, the diameter is a little too large. I will keep them to use on another vehicle as they are very well made, but they simply don't work for the car I bought them for.I had to take apart all the intake plumbing on the Jackson Racing supercharger kit on my Miata to get to a busted throttle cable, and took the opportunity to replace the original worm-screw clamps with these. These t-bolt clamps look better, hold the hoses more securely, and don't damage the silicone like the originals do. Still have to keep a few worm-screw clamps for the hoses that have tight clearance with the hood, or I'd have replaced them all.A note on sizing: If you can, measure the outside diameter of the hose you're clamping to better judge what size clamp you'll need (yeah, the hoses flex so getting an accurate diameter is tough). The inner diameter sizing is helpful, but these seem to be sized for silicone hoses with 4-5 layers, and with thinner walled hoses (2-3 layers) you may need to go down a size. 70-78mm work on my 2 1/2" hoses, but they're thin-walled and have a lot of the t-bolt clear of the nut when they're tightened. 63-71mm would probably be a better fit for me in that application, but there's a little overlap between sizes, so if you're only off by one size they'll still work just fine.When i first came across these clamps, I was honestly doubting it’s quality and efficiency. I installed them today on my GTI making around 22psi of boost, not only did they do the work but they’re great for this price!!! i bought quality clamps before this and my car blew them off due to the PSI but not these ones.YES YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO TIGHTEN THESE OR ELSE THEY DONT WORK OR YOU CAN STRIP THEM DURING OR AFTER REMOVAL!!! YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR SIZES TOOO!!! these reviews are all about dumb people not knowing how to properly tight a clamp.These got a tight grip on my pool likes you really have to wrench them down but NO leaks, pricey but worth it..
