I bought these for my Mallard and they were not very effective at clamping my duck.They work and the mechanism turns and tightens easily. BUT, There isn't a whole lot of adjustability in the ratchet strap. I had an non-standard use for these and they won't tighten beyond 7 inches, which was my hope as a 6 inch clamp wasn't big enough.
