As the title says, it is better than i had expected. There are a few things that are worth noting and have been mentioned by a few other reviews but i thought i would state them again. First, this is for 3/4" stock OR 1 1/2" stock, this does not adjust to anything between those. However, you can probably still use the 3/4" guide for 1" stock if you want to. Second, the holes are a little tight at first, once you run the bit though a few times they ride quite smooth, not a big deal as it doesn't seem to damage the bit in the process. Everything is well built, the blocks have a very strong magnet on the back to make clamping easier when not using it with the base. The clamps are great and the drill bit is very sharp. would buy again for sure!
