I bought these clips to use on a battery charger for lithium iron phosphate batteries. The original clips that came with the charger where at their limit when trying to grasp the 10 mm bolts on the batteries. And their slippery vinyl boots were a poor fit and often slipped off and up the wire leaving bare clips. These new clips are a convenient size (2-1/8" overall length) and the coating is closely molded on and "grippy" with no tendency to slip off. The spring tension is a bit firmer than my originals - a just right compromised between the security of an extra firm grip and ease of use. They fit firmly on my banana plugs and have fairly fine teeth for a more stable grip than clips with coarse teeth, and open to approximately 1/2". They seem sturdy but not bulky, with little tendency to twist out of alignment. I am well pleased with my purchase.
