WEN CT1065 10-Amp 6.5-Inch Plunge Cut Sidewinder Circular Track SawRemember when your saw stayed on the right track? Keep your cuts on the straight and narrow with the WEN 10-Amp Sidewinder Plunge Cut Track Saw. The WEN Track Saw provides users the same results as a table or panel saw in a compact and portable package. Simply lay the track (not included – model CT9502) along the desired surface for a clean and smooth cut. The WEN Track Saw is the perfect companion for ripping plywood, trimming doors, building furniture, and any other application needing long, precise cuts. Our powerful 10-amp motor rotates the 6-1/2 inch blade up to 5500 times per minute, letting you power through even the hardest of woods. Bevel the saw 45 degrees to the left to create angled cuts in boards up to 1-5/8 inches thick. Set the depth gauge anywhere from 0 to 2-1/3 inches to control how deep the saw plunges. The 12 x 6-5/8 inch base features precision grooves that let the saw glide smoothly along the track. However, the saw can also exist on its own as a plunge saw, relying on its flat base for maximum stability and precision. Easily switch between three different blade settings: one for scoring cuts that go 1/8-inch deep, one for full plunge cuts, and one to simplify blade changes. The non-slip base cams reduce pinching and minimizes kickback. The back-mounted dust port allows for attachment to your favorite dust collection system to control sawdust and limit cleanup. Simply attach your dust collection device of choice and start sawing. Compatible with the WEN CT9502 100-Inch Track and the WEN CT992F Track Saw Clamps. And, because it’s a WEN product, your WEN 10-Amp Plunge Cut Circular Track Saw comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, and a friendly customer helpline, all to make sure you remember WEN.WEN CT992F 7.5-Inch Quick Release Track Saw Clamps, Two PackRemember when your saw was on the straight and narrow? Secure your track saw’s guide rail tightly to your workpiece with this set of WEN track saw clamps. Simply slide the end of the F-Clamp into the matching slot of the track to prevent sliding and slipping during sawing operations. The spacious 2.5-Inch throat fits on workpieces up to 7.5 inches thick. These clamps feature quick release buttons for easy detachment and installation. Their textured pad simultaneously prevents workpiece marring and slippage during operation. The easy-to-use squeeze handles maximize the grip of the clamps, allowing for one handed set-up and breakdown. And even though these clamps were designed with the WEN track saw system in mind (models CT1065, CT9980, 36027, 36050, 36055), their universal fit is also compatible with the majority of track saw guide rails on the market (.45 by .227 inch bar). remember when you could run your track saw safely and accurately? Remember WEN.

I have used this saw and used this saw and it comes at your like a spider monkey. It just keeps going and going. The original Wen blade even took to a nice sharpening which I was pleasantly surprised with.First off, remember, a few of the parts are plastic so be kind of careful. I don't baby mine at all, but I don't throw it all over the place either. The accuracy of cuts is right on for what I need. I am able to make precision rip and cross-cuts on all kinds of wood without an issue. There is a TINY bit of movement in the parts (less than 1/64th of an inch but more than 1/128th) but this is wood, not metal, you should never be making a cut that needs that much precision with this kind of saw, regardless of brand. Here are my suggestions to get this thing to work as good as any saw I've ever owned:1. Go slow, if you push too hard it can bog down, but slow and steady and the cut is perfect every time.2. Use the right blade. This goes without saying, but using a general purpose blade to rip laminate flooring is just stupid and no fault of the saw. I use a fine tooth blade with a thin kerf and a lot of teeth and I get absolutely precision cuts with thing.3. Keep the saw spinning fast when doing a plunge cut to avoid tear-out, meaning once again, go slow. Works perfectly fine if you aren't expecting the power of a 20 amp big table saw.All the rules to cutting wood apply. Use masking tape where needed. Use the right blade. Hold the wood tight, so on and so forth and you'll find this thing works perfect. The only drawback you'll find is you don't have the power to cut super fast, but you'll have to spend 4 times the amount to get a saw that can really go quick, so deal with it and enjoy the extra money in your pocket.I hope this helped!
