I managed to get only one of the four clips partially onto a 25mm barbell bar, and that required much more of a struggle than I'd put up with during a workout. I measured the four clips with an inside diameter caliper, and the three complete failures measured about 24.5 mm. The one that I got partially over the bar measured just a bit short of 25mm. In addition, it appears that the two loops of string steel on these clips are not as closely aligned as on other barbell clips I have. It's interesting how even these fairly mundane inexpensive items require real precision in manufacturing. Make sure you measure your bar correctly as not all 1” bars are the same.I have bars that range from 25mm to 28mmThey are not safeI ordered 30mm and these are definitely not 30mm2 of the 4 in the set were too loose to keep the weights from sliding on the bar. Evidently, quality control isn't a priority with this manufacturer. This is a serious safety issue. Weights could slip during use. Find another vendor.Easy to use.
